Request Account Deletion by EmailPlease include your registered email, business name, platform used and reason for request so we can verify your account.

1. Introduction

This Account Deletion & Data Deletion Policy explains how DukaanAdda users can request the deletion of their accounts and associated personal or business data. We are committed to transparency and providing clear control over the data you share with us.

DukaanAdda is operated by Anita Tech Solutions. Our application provides billing, invoice management, product inventory tracking, khata/ledger records, and wholsaler-retailer marketplace features to facilitate business transactions.

Because DukaanAdda acts as a business tool storing transaction records (such as invoices, marketplace orders, and ledgers) that counterparties rely on for tax, compliance, and audit purposes, certain data may need to be retained under specific conditions. This policy describes how we balance your privacy rights with business record preservation.

Please read this policy carefully alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.

2. How to Request Account Deletion

You can request the deletion of your account and associated data at any time, even if you have already uninstalled the application. We support two official request channels:

Method 1: In-App Request (Recommended)

If you still have the DukaanAdda app installed, you can submit an direct deletion request via:

  1. Open the DukaanAdda app on your mobile or desktop device.
  2. Navigate to Settings from the main dashboard.
  3. Select Security & Privacy.
  4. Tap Request Account Deletion.
  5. Choose a deletion reason, add optional comments, and click Submit Deletion Request.

Method 2: Web-Based Request via Email

If you cannot access the app, you do not need to reinstall it. You can email a written deletion request directly to our support inbox at dukaanaddaa@gmail.com with the subject line “DukaanAdda Account Deletion Request”.

To process your web request, please include the following details in your email:

  • Your registered Google email address used to log into the app.
  • Your registered business name.
  • Your business phone number (only if already provided or linked within the app).
  • The platform you primarily used (Android, Windows, or both).
  • The reason for your account deletion request (optional, but helps us improve).
  • Details of any active or pending marketplace transactions/Pro payments if applicable.

Important Security Notice: We will never ask you for your account password, secure OTPs, credit/debit card numbers, or UPI PINs. Please do not include sensitive credentials or banking secrets in your deletion request emails.

3. Information Required for Verification

To prevent unauthorized account deletion, malicious requests, or accidental loss of business records, DukaanAdda must verify your identity before processing any deletion action.

We verify requests by checking parameters such as:

  • Consistency of the sender's email address with the registered Google login profile.
  • Matching Firebase Authentication user IDs or unique device identifiers.
  • Consistency of the submitted business name with ledger configurations.
  • Verification of recent app transaction numbers, invoice references, or billing approvals.
  • Direct email confirmation responses sent to your registered address.

Anita Tech Solutions reserves the right to delay, reject, or request additional verification details for any deletion request if the identity of the account owner cannot be verified with absolute certainty.

4. What Happens After You Submit a Request

When you submit a request (either in-app or via email), it is processed through a structured administrative workflow:

Step 1pending

Request is received and queued for review.

Step 2review

Admin checks pending payments, orders, and audits.

Step 3approved

Identity verified and account scheduled for deletion.

Step 4deactivated

Account access blocked; public visibility turned off.

Step 5completed

Data purged or anonymized where applicable.

If your request cannot be verified, or if it is cancelled, the status changes to:

  • rejected: Denied due to mismatched verification, active fraud investigations, or uncompleted contract requirements.
  • cancelled_by_user: The user requested to restore account access during the pending review period.

If you submit your request through the app and maintain access during the review period, you will receive real-time status updates directly within the Settings menu.

5. What Data May Be Deleted or Anonymized

Once a deletion request is approved and completed, DukaanAdda will permanently delete or anonymize eligible personal data linked to your account profile. This data includes:

  • Your primary profile data (registered user display name, profile email address).
  • Google account profile references and associated Google login authentication links.
  • Active account authentication tokens and device session records.
  • Push notification tokens and associated messaging preferences.
  • App personalization preferences and custom display configurations.
  • Public business search listings, public contact cards, and public wholesaler profile directories.
  • Uploaded cosmetic images (such as profile avatars or shop icons) that are not linked to transaction records.

Anonymized data is processed to strip all personally identifiable characteristics, leaving only aggregated statistical indicators that cannot be linked back to you or your business.

6. What Data May Be Retained

DukaanAdda does not delete all databases immediately. Because our app functions as a ledger for commercial transactions, we must retain certain historical data to protect system integrity, prevent fraud, satisfy accounting reviews, or meet legal and regulatory obligations.

The following categories of data may be retained after account deletion:

  • Generated tax invoices and invoice metadata records.
  • Completed and fulfilled marketplace transaction histories.
  • Khata ledger entries, customer dues, and credit log reports.
  • Windows direct activation UPI screenshot proof and verification reference codes.
  • Pro plan subscription purchase history and billing audit entries.
  • Security logs, login IP audit trails, and abuse prevention records.
  • Customer support emails, request transcripts, and resolution notes.

Where retention is legally required, the data is archived securely, marked as restricted, and deactivated from daily access.

7. Business Records, Invoices, Orders and Khata

A core function of DukaanAdda is creating and preserving business records. Invoices, customer directories, product lists, khata/ledger registers, outstanding balance reports, and PDF order sheets constitute critical operational data.

Why do we retain business records?

  • Regulatory Audits: Tax laws require merchants to maintain detailed registers of invoices and receipts for several years.
  • Dispute Resolution: If business relationships between wholesaling groups and retailing entities break down, the historical ledgers prevent unilateral tampering.
  • Record Consistency: Deleting database entries unilaterally could break calculations, balance totals, or references inside a client's active account profile.

Consequently, DukaanAdda handles account deletion requests by deactivating your account profile while preserving the required transaction records in an archived format.

8. Marketplace Orders and Counterparty Records

The Wholesaler-Retailer Marketplace is a collaborative commerce environment. Orders submitted through the marketplace establish a transaction contract between two independent businesses.

If you request account deletion, we deactivate your wholesaler or retailer profile from public searches and block new order creation. However, past orders, shared products, price list histories, and cart totals will remain visible to the other transaction participant. Deleting one user account does not erase the legitimate purchase histories of another marketplace business.

9. Premium, Payment and Subscription Records

Payment records are stored for transaction auditing and security purposes:

  • Google Play Billing (Android): Transaction order numbers, GPA references, and dates are stored securely by Google Play. Deleting your DukaanAdda account does not delete purchase records from your Google Play account history.
  • Windows Manual UPI Activation: Uploaded UTR numbers, screenshot transaction proofs, and administrative logs are archived for a maximum duration permitted by law to resolve payment disputes, prevent bank reversals, and audit business earnings.

Please note that deactivating or deleting your account does not create eligibility for a refund of current or past subscriptions. For details, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

10. Request Review and Processing Time

Account deletion requests are not processed instantly. We review account files manually to check for unresolved transactions, verify identity, and archive business data.

We aim to review and process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period (typically within 30 business days) after receiving the request and verifying the owner's identity. Processing may take longer if your account has active marketplace orders or pending payment verifications.

11. Cancelling a Pending Request

If you submit a deletion request accidentally, or choose to restore your account access, you can cancel your pending request before administrative approval:

  • In-App: Go to Settings > Security > Request Account Deletion and tap Cancel Deletion Request.
  • Email: Send a cancellation notice from your registered email to dukaanaddaa@gmail.com.

Once a request is approved and the account data is permanently deleted or anonymized, it cannot be restored or cancelled.

12. Account Deactivation vs Account Deletion

To keep your transaction records secure and comply with tax requirements, DukaanAdda uses account deactivation as part of the deletion process:

  • Account Deactivation (Soft Delete): We block all logins, deactivate your access keys, hide your profile from search features, and disable marketplace visibility. Your historical business records (invoices, ledgers, order sheets) are archived safely.
  • Account Deletion (Hard Delete): Eligible personal profile data (email configurations, active session tokens, cosmetic profile avatars) is deleted from our databases.

DukaanAdda uses soft deletion for all active business accounts. This allows you to request account closure while ensuring that necessary transactional records are preserved.

13. Data That Cannot Be Deleted Immediately

DukaanAdda cannot process account deletion immediately if:

  • Active, uncompleted, or disputed marketplace orders require counterparty actions.
  • An active subscription or pending manual payment confirmation is under review.
  • An active security check or fraud investigation is linked to your business account.
  • Retention of commercial ledger records is required by tax and corporate laws.
  • The deletion would corrupt, break, or alter the invoice records of other marketplace businesses.
  • Data is stored inside automated offline backup archives (such data is deleted over time in accordance with our backup retention schedule).

14. After Account Deletion is Completed

Once account deletion is complete:

  • You will lose all access to your DukaanAdda account and cannot log back in.
  • All active application sessions on Android or Windows devices will be terminated.
  • Your business profiles, catalog lists, and search entries are permanently hidden.
  • Deleted or anonymized database elements cannot be recovered.
  • Legally required billing and order histories remain archived as restricted files.

If you wish to use DukaanAdda again in the future, you must register a new account and set up a new business workspace from scratch.
